Does it get any more primitive than a 3-legged milking stool? Milking stools like this were typically designed with 3 legs to ensure a sturdy platform on uneven surfaces, like a barn. They also had handles to allow for easier carrying from one cow to the next. Today they are more generally used for decoration, as side tables, footrests, plant holders, etc.
Condition:Stool is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or major chips. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See photos for examples.
